Pittosporum tenuifolium Tom Thumb - a low mound forming evergreen with bronze foliage. In spring, the new growth is green - giving an unusual two-toned effect against the older bronze or purple foliage.
This Pittosporum is relatively trouble free, and can be grown as a specimen in a tub or border planted. Is hardy in mild winters, but might suffer damage in colder areas. plant in sheltered place - as with all Pittosporum shrubs.
Eventually reaches approx one metre in height, though rather less in spread. No flowers to speak or boast of.
Pruning: - is rarely necessary - other than trimming back any winter-damaged shoots.
