Some Different Vegetable crops

Some vegetables don't quite fit into the normal categories - or at least need some special growing conditions

We explore some of the vegetable which are not quite root crops, nor salads, nor 'greens.

Nevertheless they are important additions to the vegetable plot - and hence our diet.

Asparagus - Quite easy to grow, but it does take a little time, and needs a permanent position!
