Show us your Garden - submission notes.

We don't want to have strict rules for submission of your gardens to us. Certainly not as far as what we think your garden should or should not be. The main purpose of this section, is to allow you freedom.

In particular we want to see the widest range of gardens available on the world wide stage. Yes! You can be part of it.

A flowerpot garden is just as welcome as a 100 acre estate. If you enjoy your garden however large or small, then surely you would like to share it with the world. Don't worry, no-one will come knocking on your door hoping for a cup of tea on your relaxing Sunday. Your secret is safe with us and the million or so visitors we get to the site every year!

Your garden can be submitted to us by email with image attachments, or however you normally go about sending pictures to friends on the net. We are quite flexible, and we have great staff to help display your garden pictures and text nicely on your own page.

A few guidelines to follow - sorry!

  •  No more than 3 images on first submission

  • Around 200-300 words of description. Tell us about what makes your garden 'tick' for you!

  • Our visitors will be interested in your planting ideas and layout ideas, and also what you use your garden for.

  • NO HIGH resolution images PLEASE. We will not open your mail if the file size is too big.

  • Yes, we are quite happy to receive gardens which are 'trade'. Open to the public. Please let us have the information which is needed for people to find your garden.

  • Garden designers! If you are simply after a plug for your business, then forget it! However, if you have a particularly good design that will be of interest. No we wont publish your website or give you free advertising, but we are open to suggestions. However important you feel you are, for us, our visitors come first!

  • If you are not sure about file size, then please just send us 1 image first, then we will get back to you and help you though the process.

  • No pictures that are not your own copyright! You cannot copy pictures out of a magazine, or send us someone else's pictures.

That should do for now - common sense prevails we hope!
